Trails AGM Tuesday June 12th at 7:00pm

There are easy ways to furnish a trail viewpoint. This was not one of them.

There is something about a trailhead sign that makes a trail feel real. After several work bees — clearing the Nun Creek FSR of encroaching alders, brushing the first stretch of trail, and laying the groundwork for what will eventually be a fully restored route — the Nun Lake trailhead sign is now in place. Two logos. One mission. Recreation Sites & Trails BC and Trails for Creston Valley Society, side by side, marking the start of something worth working toward.

Our last work bee proved what TCVS is made of — 12 volunteers, 2.7 km of trail cleared, and a sunny day well spent in the backcountry. But the real story is what's being built behind the scenes: a sustainable organization with the people, systems, and community support to keep these trails open for generations to come.
